What To Expect
Your Initial Consult
Your visit begins with a relaxed, confidential consultation. Your intake form is reviewed, your goals, habits, and reasons for seeking therapy are discussed, and time is set aside for your questions. You’ll receive clear, honest guidance with no hype and no false promises. Just education, transparency, and a plan that fits you..
Before You Come In
Eat lightly the day before your session, and stay well hydrated with clean, filtered water. Avoid heavy, greasy or fatty meals. Wear comfortable clothing that’s easy to change in and out of.
You should refrain from eating three hours prior to your session. It’s also best to stop drinking fluids at least one hour prior to your session to avoid having a full bladder during the therapy.
What To Expect During Your Session
Walking through the doors at Rectify Health isn’t like stepping into a cold medical office. It’s more like exhaling after holding your breath for too long. From start to finish, your comfort, privacy, and education come first.
You’ll be positioned comfortably on a warm, cushioned, adjustable table and remain fully draped and covered. A small, lubricated speculum is gently inserted into your rectum. This speculum is connected to two tubes: one delivers warm, temperature-controlled, triple-filtered structured water, and the other allows waste and water to exit safely through a closed system, never exposed to air or the room.
The session begins with a gentle flow of water. As it progresses, water moves further into the colon helping to hydrate and soften waste while encouraging the body’s natural peristalsis, the wave-like muscle action your colon uses to move things along. Most clients consider colonics (colon hydrotherapy) to be a comfortable experience. Some may notice mild cramping during a fill, which typically passes quickly. You are always in control, and the session can be paused or stopped at any time.
I am in the room with you throughout the session, adjusting water temperature and pressure, monitoring your comfort, and responding to your feedback. You’re encouraged to relax, breathe, and communicate openly. Sessions typically last 40-45 minutes, depending on individual needs.
Once complete, the speculum is removed and you’re provided a private restroom to finish eliminating any remaining water or waste. You’ll receive hydration and nutrition guidance to support your body for the rest of the day.
After the Session
Drink plenty of water, eat nourishing food, and rest if your body asks for it. The real work continues in daily choices through hydration, movement, whole foods, and rest.
